Areare taringa mai are a set of strengths-based guidelines that have been cocreated with a group of rangatahi Maaori from the Waikato and Ngaati Paaoa rohe. These guidelines are intended to be used as a tool for health care providers to better support and engage with rangatahi throughout their practice. The rangatahi voice is highlighted at the forefront of this tool and guides the koorero to ensure their voices are heard. Under each guideline rangatahi share their views of how to effectively implement these, whilst the corresponding page summaries helpful tips health care providers can use to achieve a positive outcome.
